Major Spoilers for Resident Evil 5 on the net?

Apparently, someone has extracted information from one of the Biohazard 5 demo releases and there are plenty of potential spoilers on the various message boards of the internet now. If you want to see them then go to either one of the GameFAQs RE5 boards and search for "hack" or "spoilers". From what I have heard, these are possibly major spoilers for the full game of RE5. Just by catching a glimpse of one, I was already unhappy with what I was reading. Whether or not these are true spoilers remains to be seen and we obviously won't know until the game is released, so be on guard with what you read.

I intend to keep all major spoilers off this blog until the game's release, so don't post up these possible spoilers here please. The only reason why I mention these in this post is to give a word of warning to those that might not want the game ruined for them.

Dude, so I heard that the main character's going to be Chris Redfield, and omg Wesker is still alive! :O

Darn you. :(

Next, you'll most likely spoil whether or not the game still has RE4-style gameplay.

Better quit while you're ahead there, buddy. xD

So, have you managed to finish Prince of Persia? :) I've been busy letting my life get sucked away in Persona 3. Damn I forgot how long it takes for anything to happen in 100-hour long RPGs :/ Last night I started questioning my sanity when it took me 5 hours to clear one week in-game. :/

Haha. I see you haven't logged on to Xbox LIVE in a while or else you would have received my message by now.

My Xbox 360 RRoR'd again while playing Prince of Persia early last week, and I had to send it in for repair. I'm going to have to buy a new 360 console eventually most likely. It's only been close to seven months since MS fixed it for the same problem. Hopefully it will be back soon so I can get back to PoP and the other multitude of games for 360 that I haven't played yet.

I've been playing Dead Space, Lost Planet, SSTF2THDR and Haze in the meantime for PS3. I also returned to Umbrella Chronicles for Wii. I really suck at that game at the moment from not having played it in about a year - used to be such a pro at critical shots. :p

* RRoD'd

Damn, that sucks :/ And RRoR makes sense (Red Ring of RAGE!!!!!!!!!), especially since it deprived you of PoP's ending! >_<

Hopefully you kept your hard drive. There's a good chance they'll send you both a new drive AND a new console to boot.

This weekend I must have spent 20 hours+ on Persona 3. >_> And only managed to clear 2 months or so. I swear after this I'm only sticking to Star Ocean and portable RPGs.

Yeah, the bottom portion of my face matched what is displayed as my gamer pic last Monday, haha.

I'm a little worried about them sending me a new console actually (if they do). I've been reading about downloadable game rights being console exclusive. I know how to get them transferred but that requires my comp and Xbox 360 to be online at the same time, which in my case, they can't since I don't have a router.

Hopefully, they can help me over the phone if I get a new console and need help with the rights. Supposedly, you can only play your games while signed in to your online account if the rights are not transferred (no offline gaming for downloaded games). It wouldn't be so bad, but kind of annoying.

It's hard for me to focus on RPG's nowadays. There's way too many other games to move on to while an RPG is soaking up my hours. If it's a really good RPG though, it doesn't really matter. :)

Why don't you just go with a router? If you can do it wired, then any kind will do, cheaply or not, since everyone pretty much is still using the same speed ports and stuff. It's when you go wireless that it gets messy, but wireless is overrated ATM anyway. Until we all go with Bluetooth, and Bluetooth can actually hit a certain speed threshold, current wireless will still be behind good ol' physical wires. But that's technobabble for another time :)

Either way I'm sure you can transfer your stuff over the phone; I remember reading stories specific to that. Besides, at this point you'd think that MS has already heard it enough times that they are more than willing to get you through it.

I'm holding out for wireless actually. :p Might get it early next year.

I just received an email telling me that my console has been repaired. Hopefully, I'll get one about it shipping out later today.

Microsoft transfer licenses when they replace 360's in servicing, anyway, so you shouldn't have an issue even if it is replaced. At least in theory.

Let's hope so. If not I'll have to call them up. It seems to have the same serial number at the moment and the repairs are done.

Just waiting for it to reach me at the momemnt - kind of bad time to be waiting for the package from UPS with the holidays and the weekend coming up.
