Personally I enjoy Agni & Rudra, Lucifer, Red Queen, and Yamato.
Agni & Rudra is plain fun to use! Dante could be extremely agressive with those blades in DMC3. Besides Nevan, Lucifer is the most unique weapon I have seen - I still haven't been able to play with it a bunch though. Red Queen's Exceed system is excellent once you get used to it - I'll have up a little something about this in a few days. From Vergil's use of it, Yamato's speed and reach was the main aspect that I enjoyed about that particular weapon. I liked its overall power also depending on the attack used - Judgement Cut, Aerial Rave.
I voted for Gilgamesh for putting Ifrit and Beowulf together :D I just wish it had a better way to close on enemies. I think where Beowulf used RG to "break out" into a powerhouse, Gilgamesh relies on Trickster to pull off its full potential.
ReplyDeleteOverall best weapon though I think is Agni and Rudra. Works in pretty much every person's style.
Yamato; for certain reason I like katana type of weapon, it looks simply strong and sharp.
ReplyDeleteYeah that is cool how Gilgamesh combined both Beowulf and Ifrit. I thought the same thing when I first got it. Gotta love that rapid kick.
ReplyDeleteI really liked Yamato better in DMC3. It matched Vergil's overall character design really well. It's just not the same when Dante uses it. :(
By the way Berserker, you forgot to put Cerberus on the list...
ReplyDeleteYeah, I first realized that a few days ago. Too bad Blogger won't let me edit an in-progress poll...
